Krafty Kids at Roman Road

This week at Roman Road we have had the privilege of working with Michelle from Krafty Kids, designing and making some fantastic plates.

We started by designing some plates with help from our parents and family. On Wednesday Michelle arrived with all the plates, pens, aprons and much more. We were then shown how to use the pens to draw our designs onto our plates. The final results were fantastic!

We collected our plates on Thursday evening and took them home to cook in the oven. This sets the paint and varnish on the plates. That night, many of us had our tea from a personalised, individual plate. And to top it all off we learnt fantastic new skills and had great fun.

Photos to come soon.

I joined in making the plates. It was fun to do somthing to do with art and for a different person to come in and do something creative.
