Year 6 have started on their Rowing Challenge!!!

Forget the Olynpics or the Boat Race, our children had introductory session with Mr Tellyn from Heworth Grange on how to use their impressive rowing machines.

Over the coming months, they will take part in challenges which will be entered on to computer. From this, league tables from different schools will be drawn up thus making it a real challenge.

The children really enjoyed their first event. It was exhausting but they can't wait for next month and a new challenge.

The rowing is very fun but quite hard especially towards the end because you have used all your energy to get off to a good start. But it was still realy fun and quit competitive because your in a competition with lots of different schools!
