Year 6 have just returned from an enjoyable week at Whithaugh Park.
You can see the first lot of photos in the gallery section of this site.
After beating a slow journey up to the site, the rainy weather and of course the midgies, year 6 took took part in lots of activities on the land (and under it), in the water and in the air with the famous parachute drop from the climbing tower.
Miss Allen didn't get lost on the orienteering - a first !!!
More children took part in activities than ever before and the year group were great at eating the excellent food served by Steve and his staff from Copshaw Kitchen in the village.
We even held our own disco in which the classic 'Don't Go Breaking my Heart' by Elton John and Kiki Dee was danced to by boy and girl partners. Look out for future photos to come - especially from the bride and groom competition.

Camp was great and I was a bit scared at first for some of the activities but I rose up to most of the challenges I faced. I made loads of friends from different schools. I'm so glad I actually made it this year xoxo.

Camp was the best school outing I've ever been to, I loved eveything about it especially the absailing, parajumping, canoeing, and raft building! The week went so fast it felt like I had just got there when I was leaving! Roman Road met another school from Newcastle, we made friends and gave them a football match(we won)!
I had the best time of my life (the meals were nice too),the only thing that was bad was the midgies!
