Roman Road Primary School is located on the top section of Leam Lane Estate just below Springwell Estate and Wrekenton. The school field faces out on to Leam Lane which forms part of the Roman road from which the school got its name.
From our field, we can see a lanscape view of Sunderland, South Shields and Jarrow. Sunderland AFC's Stadium of Light is one of the landmarks that can be seen.
