Admissions
All places at Roman Road Primary School are allocated in accordance with Gateshead Local Authority admissions policy. This is published annually.
As part of the induction process, parent and carer meetings are held during the Summer Term for children who are due to start our Nursery and Reception classes in September.
During the Autumn Term, Nursery children have a preliminary visit to the setting. This is followed by shorter session times that are extended as the children settle. Depending on availability, children are admitted at termly intervals following their third birthday.
For admission to our Reception class, children attend full days from the start of the academic year. This supports our working families and gets children into good habits straight away.
The school has an admission number of thirty.
