SEND Sport

A Chance to Shine!

We are proud to be a school that gives our children with special educational needs or disabilities a chance to shine in competitive sport.

We take part in impairment specific programmes, competing in a range of local and regional events. To see our SEND Sports Team come back from events sporting their team t-shirts and wearing their medals with pride demonstrates the impact SEND sport has on the confidence and belief of our amazing Team Roman Road children.

SEND Cricket

Working closely with Durham Cricket, we are offering KS2 children on our SEND register a chance to take part in Table Cricket and Softball. As a result of this, children build social skills and connections through this inclusive offer.

What it does: Wordfence offers a feature for a site visitor to bypass country blocking by accessing a hidden URL. This cookie helps track who should be allowed to bypass country blocking.

Who gets this cookie: When a hidden URL defined by the site admin is visited, this cookie is set to verify the user can access the site from a country restricted through country blocking.
